RENGO presents his own theatre of wonders at MUDEM: still lifes and landscapes. Sixty works born from his inexhaustible creative well, brimming with his distinctive perspective on painting; a recognizable and surprising artist, at times as unclassifiable as his art. This time he brings loose brushstrokes bursting with vibrant color, boundless imagination, landscapes with familiar echoes, audacious yet deftly executed strokes, and sarcastic, recognizable still lifes—all peppered with his trademark critters and palpable humor. Rengo in his purest form. Like a tireless hermit, he gifts us in this exhibition the smile that art brings to open minds. An indispensable figure in our local culture, without a doubt. Luis García Mondéjar. The exhibition can be visited from October 5 to 30 at MUDEM (Museo del Enclave de la Muralla). Visiting hours: Morning: Tuesday to Friday, 10:00 to 14:00. Evening: Tuesday to Saturday, 17:30 to 20:00. Saturday and Sunday mornings: 11:00 to 13:30.
