Elche-born artist Laura Hernández presents a painting exhibition featuring a selection of works inspired by the beauty of the Mediterranean, the glow of its sunsets, and the female form as a source of expression, emotion, and sensitivity. The exhibition can be visited from 1 September to 30 October 2026 at the Centro Cultural de Ciudad Quesada in Rojales. The showcase features a curated collection in which the artist explores different ways of portraying women, presenting figures that are strong, dreamy, and enamoured. Mediterranean colours, light, and atmospheres take centre stage, creating compositions imbued with sensitivity, beauty, and emotion. Working across various media such as charcoal, pastel, watercolour, and acrylic, Laura Hernández develops a distinctive artistic language that blends drawing, colour, and expressiveness to convey diverse moods and sensations. Opening hours: Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 21:00.
