Artist Jaime Aniorte presents his exhibition “Imborrable”, a painting showcase reflecting on the passage of time, memory, and the marks that linger in the landscape despite its transformations. The exhibition can be visited at the Casa de Cultura in Guardamar until October 16, 2026. The show brings together a selection of works in which the artist explores the landscape from a perspective tied to abstract expressionism. Through overlapping layers, stains, marks, brushstrokes, and glazes, Aniorte builds compositions where the visible and the hidden coexist, evoking the different layers of memory that accumulate in a territory. “Imborrable” establishes a special dialogue with Guardamar del Segura and its landscape, an area shaped by the passage of various cultures and civilizations. Beneath its dunes, pine forests, and natural spaces lie the traces of a past that, though seemingly vanished, remains an integral part of the territory's identity. Visiting hours: Monday to Friday from 10:00 to 14:00 and 17:00 to 20:00. Saturdays from 10:00 to 14:00.
